On our Menstrual Equity Petition 2020

🩸Since our petition signatures exceeded 500, the Federal Government’s response to the petition has been tabled. Swipe ⬅️ ⬅️ to read! Thank you to everyone who shared the petition/signed- THANK YOU🙏. More petitions to come. Last month we were able to discuss menstruation and the issue of menstrual equity with the Minister of Labour, @filomenatassi. We are hopeful and excited to continue conversations regarding #menstrualequity with the Minister & her team in 2021. We understand budgetary issues + covid priorities. But we also believe menstrual equity is imperative for inclusion and we will continue to fight for schools, workplaces and municipal/provincial/& Federal government to understand how important this issue is. We believe that the #menstrualhealth space in #Canada is growing every day with new advocates, brands and gaining traction on awareness and understanding. We hope (along with others!) that we can continue to unite folks who are doing AMAZING work in this space / folks who understand how important this issue is so that we can better support each other with advocacy, accessibility and educational efforts. The fight continues!!!!! Thank you @pfragiskatos for supporting us on this and we’re just getting started 🤝Please share this post to show how important menstrual equity is to YOU and your family/friends/peers/colleagues! 🇨🇦 #hereforhealth
